I suppose I should say this week is more like "Outdoors Looking In"!
While in Dusseldorf, Germany last week, I was fascinated by the Christmas windows at the department stores. The photos below are from one store in particular - Galeria Kaufhof . I was amazed at the detail. Precious displays depicting little stuffed animals wrapping presents, rolling cookie dough, and shoveling snow.
beautiful window shopping photos...Happy Turkey Day!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to go window shopping in Germany with you! The displays are beautiful!
Cute background ~ it is the same one I am using :)
I don't think I have been to your sweet place before. I think I'll peruse a few older posts!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Kindly, ldh
Oh my gosh Karen,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing those pictures! I grew up in Germany until I was eight - I have such fond memories of Christmases there. My 88 yr. old Dad and I were talking about going to Stuttgart this winter, but it isn't going to happen and I was so sad and disappointed. I long for the Kristkindelmart - so lovely and festive. I'm so glad you posted these pictures, I am flooded with warm memories!!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving
