Fall in Chicago

While in Chicago this week it certainly felt like fall. Walking up and down Michigan Avenue, the sidewalks were decked out with beautiful displays of pumpkins, dried cornstalks, bales of hay and adorable scarecrows.
Beautiful displays of mums in autumn colors.

One of the last farmers markets of the season in Chicago on Tuesday.

I see apples! Makes me want to bake an apple pie...

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

  2. Karen, your pictures are beautiful. We are going to Chicago on January 31st for a college interview. People just laugh when I say that...I bet the weather was much better on your trip than what we will see.

  3. Karen,

I live in Chicago so I am so glad to hear you had a good time!! Our city really knows how to 'dress up' for the holidays!! I hope you enjoyed the weather too, we have been so lucky to have a mild summer!

I used to work acroos the street from the big farmstand you were at. Today is the start of Oktoberfest...that's a lot of fun!! :-)

Have a great weekend and happy fall y'all!!

    xoxo

  4. I just moved from TN to Chicago and I am really missing "home". But the fall here is helping me feel like this is more like home even though it is 15 degrees cooler here then it would be in TN right now. I am glad you had a great time here. It is a really neat city.

  11. Thanks for the concepts you discuss through your blog.
In addition, several young women that become pregnant don't even try and get health insurance because they worry they couldn't qualify.
Although some states today require that insurers produce coverage irrespective of the
pre-existing conditions. Rates on these types of guaranteed programs are usually larger,
but when with the high cost of health care it may be the safer way to go to protect your
    own financial future.
