Here are more pictures from my recent trip to Chicago (which is such a fabulous city!). I took a two and a half hour tour on a double decker bus and sat out in the open on the top. The weather was chilly and windy and I totally enjoyed the tour. This post is dedicated to you, dear mother-in-law! I know sometimes you are homesick for your hometown...

Karen, first let me say I am so happy to find you..I am always looking for Texas bloggers and I live in Jewett which is north of you just off of I45. I have a list of Texas bloggers and will add you to my list. In fact, I am headed to Houston today. I go there to get my hair cut. Small world.
ReplyDeleteI have been to Chicago and enjoyed your pictures...seeing the sights again.
Please come and visit me.
What great shots of Chicago. I have been a couple of times but, would love to go back. My Daddy worked on the 52 floor of the Sears Tower for 2 years. He laughed that the Iowa Farm Boy & Texan Transplant was sure out of place there. Love the photo you have of Water Tower Place. Isn't it pretty around that!!!! Thanks for sharing. I live north of you about 2 hours. Nice to see another Texas Gal
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful city, thanks for sharing !

Great pictures. I like taking pictures of the architecture of a city, especially the details on older buildings. We were in Chicago once for a trade show. We didn't get to do a lot of sight seeing, though.

Thanks for the tour of Chicago. The only time I was ever there was a stop at a truck stop to eat. It was very cold and so windy I could hardly stand up.
