Chicago!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY
Here are more pictures from my recent trip to Chicago (which is such a fabulous city!). I took a two and a half hour tour on a double decker bus and sat out in the open on the top. The weather was chilly and windy and I totally enjoyed the tour. This post is dedicated to you, dear mother-in-law! I know sometimes you are homesick for your hometown...
Please be sure to stop by and visit Susan at A Southern Daydreamer to view lots of fun Outdoor Wednesday posts. http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/

  3. I enjoyed all the photos of Chicago, this is where my dad grew up and told me so many stories about his life as a child in Chicago. I've only been there once, but we flew in and I didn't get to tour the city so I really enjoyed your photos! thanks for sharing.

  11. What great shots of Chicago. I have been a couple of times but, would love to go back. My Daddy worked on the 52 floor of the Sears Tower for 2 years. He laughed that the Iowa Farm Boy & Texan Transplant was sure out of place there. Love the photo you have of Water Tower Place. Isn't it pretty around that!!!! Thanks for sharing. I live north of you about 2 hours. Nice to see another Texas Gal

  13. Great pictures. I like taking pictures of the architecture of a city, especially the details on older buildings. We were in Chicago once for a trade show. We didn't get to do a lot of sight seeing, though.

  14. Thanks for the tour of Chicago. The only time I was ever there was a stop at a truck stop to eat. It was very cold and so windy I could hardly stand up.

I live in Georgia now, but I'm a Chicago native. These pictures made me homesick - except for the weather.
